Global PyGEM-OGGM Glacier Projections with RCP and SSP Scenarios, Version 1 (HMA2_GGP)

This data set comprises results from a hybrid glacier evolution model that uses the mass balance module of the Python Glacier Evolution Model (PyGEM) and the glacier dynamics module of the Open Global Glacier Model (OGGM). Output parameters include projections of glacier mass change, fixed runoff, and various mass balance components at regionally aggregated and glacier scales.

van de Ven et al_2023_postGlasgow_NCC_Dataset

This dataset contains the underlying data (IAM outputs, feasibility assessment, temperature projections) for the journal article by van de Ven et al. currently in revision in Nature Climate Change, titled “A multi-model analysis of post-Glasgow climate targets and feasibility challenges”.

Scenario emissions and temperature data for PROVIDE project

Robin Lamboll; Joeri Rogelj; Carl-Friedrich Schleussner

Data for tier 1 and tier 2 PROVIDE scenarios.

Tier 1 scenarios are mostly from integrated assessment models. Tier 2 scenarios are much more numerous and are kept in a separately zipped folder for temperatures and csv file for emissions data. The temperature folders contains the full set of FaIR runs for scenarios entirely defined by emissions. Summaries are much smaller files containing quantile info for each scenario, including the scenarios defined by combinations of emissions and temperature trends.

New, curated PROVIDE scenario set for exploring temperature overshoot

A new, curated scenario dataset for exploration of impact of temperature overshoot pathways has been developed. This resource will be used throughout the PROVIDE project, but is also available openly for further use by the wider research community. An open access white paper (https://www.essoar.org/doi/10.1002/essoar.10511875.2) provides a description of the scenario set, while the full data is made available through a Zenodo archive (https://zenodo.org/record/6833278#.Yz6cy7bP25d).
